Our History At a Glance
Neversink was formally created in 1798 by Ulster County, with Henry Reynolds as its first supervisor. Originally part of Rochester, it became part of the new Sullivan County in 1809. Changing county lines and shifting boundaries make early records scattered between Ulster and Sullivan Counties.
